Since 1945 the Chino Neighborhood House has worked to ensure that families and seniors in our community have food on their table enabling our students to be more successful at school and allowing our seniors to live a healthy lifestyle.
Families and individuals in our community go without proper food and essentials every day due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, injuries, illness, age, domestic violence, or divorce. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, children and the elderly are most at risk and they make up the largest number of clients we serve.
The Chino Neighborhood House offers our neighbors, students and senior citizens a store that provides the groceries that they need to supplement what they do not have in their home.
Each month we provide groceries and other items to approximately 1,200 Adults, children and senior citizens that live within the Chino Valley Unified School District.
Through the support of our community we are able to help these families and individuals with food and hygiene items that allow them to live a healthy and productive lifestyle.
Mission Statement: The Mission of the Chino Neighborhood House is to provide groceries/food and hygiene items to low to moderate income families and individuals (including students and senior citizens) living within the Chino Valley Unified School District boundaries allowing them to offset what they may not have at home with a goal of providing a healthy lifestyle to our neighbors providing an improved quality of life.
